Book a Session

I treat bodywork as a mysterious dance: together we are following and listening for where to go.

Inspiration for this practice comes from a lot of time spent observing nature and animals, a practice which asks for patience, attention, and stillness.

All of my work — massage therapy, dance, and teaching — comes from a deep reverence for the earth and coming back to the home of our bodies. By lovingly calling our attention into our tissues, fluids, bones, muscles, and organs, we return to our vitality and have more capacity. When we are living in our purpose, regulated and have capacity, everything around us flourishes. Healing ourselves helps heal each other and, as ripples travel, heal our communities, lands, and lineages.

About

I'm a licensed massage therapist, somatic movement practitioner, and dance teacher living wide between Austin, TX and Greece, with a practice that's been shaped by two parallel paths: nearly a decade in deep tissue and clinical bodywork, and an equally long relationship with contact improvisation and dance.

I am in service to being in integrity — connecting to our bodies and center, and to right relationship with the earth and each other.

Inspiration

A decade ago I began my massage journey. I knew that I wanted to be in service to people's embodiment, and began studying massage therapy in Austin, where I grew up, at just 19 years old. I started in deep tissue work, training with mentors around Austin who specialize in sports and chronic injury. I still love the precision of deep tissue — trigger point therapy, structural assessment, and detailed, careful work.

But over the years, my practice has transformed as I've gone deeper into somatic dance, particularly Contact Improvisation and Body-Mind Centering, which investigate our relationships to touch, gravity, momentum, and weight, and look closely at the body's different systems: fluid (such as lymph and cerebrospinal fluid), bone, muscle, fascia. That study brought a different quality of touch into my sessions — more listening, more attunement to the mystery of listening to a body and following, rather than treating a body like a broken car that needs to be fixed.

Our bodies cannot be reduced to a mechanistic system, but instead deserve to be viewed as the intelligent and creative beings they are: more like an octopus with immense ability to respond, adapt, and heal.

Rather than view pain, injury, or sickness only as a series of malfunctions to be solved, I have learned to trust the incredible intelligence and wisdom of each body. Through attuned, present, and skillful touch, I relate to the integrity and health of your body. It is this relationship to health, through “touch that stays with,” that allows me to accompany you and your body in balancing in whatever ways it needs.

In practice, this means my sessions often move between registers: deep, targeted pressure in one moment, and a slower, more fluid quality of touch in the next — following what the tissue and the nervous system are asking for, rather than a single approach. I sometimes describe it as “dancing” a massage — dropping into a kind of flow state that weaves both qualities of depth, pressure, and anatomical clarity with stillness, space, and gentleness.
